NEVERMORE Frontman WARREL DANE's Solo Tour: Video Footage, Photos Available

March 10, 2010

Video footage of NEVERMORE frontman Warrel Dane's March 4, 2010 solo performance at the Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana, California is available at this location. A couple of the clips can be viewed below.

Photos of Dane's March 7, 2010 concert at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood are available here.

Dane made his solo live debut on December 19, 2009 at Studio Seven in Seattle, Washington. He was accompanied by Matt Wicklund (HIMSA, GOD FORBID) on guitar plus Willis Mathiasen (drums),Dagna Barrera (bass) and Jonny Smokes (guitar).

Dane's show encompassed material spanning one of metal's most defining and revolutionary vocalists' entire catalog, focusing on his inaugural solo effort, "Praises To The War Machine", as well as featuring SANCTUARY tracks for the first time in over a decade.

Dane's debut solo album, "Praises to the War Machine" (2008),sold 1,100 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Dane, who first shattered the boundaries of conventionality with the legendary SANCTUARY and NEVERMORE, proved that he was one of metal's most diverse frontmen with this solo effort as he unleashed a barrage of introspective and personal lyrics that were heartfelt and extremely powerful. All of this emotion backed with his soaring angelic and dynamic vocals provides all of the necessary elements for a savagely captivating, melodic assault that quickly hooked you in.

NEVERMORE recently finished recording its new album, "The Obsidian Conspiracy", for a June 8 release via Century Media Records.

The drum tracks for "The Obsidian Conspiracy" were completed in the group's hometown of Seattle with SOILWORK guitarist Peter Wichers, who previously worked with NEVERMORE's Warrel Dane on the singer's solo debut, "Praises to the War Machine". Longtime friend and collaborator Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, ARCH ENEMY, EXODUS, MACHINE HEAD) is once again handling mixing duties.
